Jaryn wilcox

Jaryn Wilcox, a Boston-based actor, creator, and writer, has performed and produced theater since 2014 and is known for both her onstage roles and contributions to theater administration. Originally from northeastern Pennsylvania, she has been active in the Boston theater scene, performing in both live and virtual productions. Wilcox’s work spans acting, creation, and writing, with a particular commitment to producing work that engages artists and audiences in community-centered creative experiences.

Notable Theater Roles and Performances include Mariette in Ecstasy (Treehouse Collective, Boston) as Sister Agnes, and in Burning (Theatre@First, Somerville, MA) as Cy. Additional production work includes “Someone Will Remember Us”.

She has appeared onstage at Footlight Club as Tracey in Lynn Nottage\u2019s SWEAT, and in The Doll's House (2022) and virtually in 25 for 25 (2020).

Jaryn was awarded the 2023 EMACT DASH Awards for Best Play and Best Ensemble for their performance of Witch at Hovey Players, directed by Katie Swimm.

Her favorite roles have included Cy Burns (Burning), Casey (Anton in Show Business), Lady Macbeth, and Hermia (Dead Man\u2019s Cell Phone).

“Pursuing a professional career in theatre has been my life's passion, and it is where I truly feel at home. I want to create art that touches people’s lives, invigorates their souls, and motivates them to question, to fight, to dream.
